Children's services | Out-patient services

Many of our consultants have special areas of clinical interest which allows us to offer a wide choice of specialist clinics and services.

Children’s out-patient clinics take place in a specially designed children’s suite on the first floor of the Royal Free. Recently refurbished, the clinic area has a life-size animal and natural world theme, turning a visit to hospital into a fun event, reducing anxiety and keeping children occupied.

We also hold weekly general paediatric clinics at Edgware Community Hospital in Barnet to make it easier for people living further away from the Royal Free.

Please bring your appointment letter with you, along with your child's Red Book and any medication your child is currently taking in original containers.

If you need to change your appointment please call us during office hours on 020 7830 2144.

Parking is expensive and very limited and we suggest that you come by public transport where possible.

If you do not to attend your appointment and we do not hear from you, we will not routinely offer another appointment and your child will be discharged back to the care of the person that referred them.

Please call us on 020 7830 2144 if any of your contact or GP details change.

We offer the following specialist paediatric services and clinics:

General paediatrics, paediatric gastroenterology, surgery and allergy clinics are available via Choose and Book.

Specialist clinics require a GP referral letter.
