Benefits advice at the patient's bedside
Job Centre Plus now provide a service at the Royal Free.
This service is set up for all patients, particularly in-patients
who would like to discuss or enquire about a benefits claim.
Surgeries are held fortnightly on Thursdays.
Patients who want a visit from the service can request this through
the ward who will complete the referral form & fax it to PALS
who will in turn pass all referrals to Jobcentreplus before the surgery dates.
If your employer or the DWP require a medical certificate
as proof of your stay in hospital, please ask a nurse.
