Nights and weekends

For clinical queries on bleeding and thrombotic issues, the haemophilia registrar can be contacted through bleep 1811, via the Royal Free switchboard.

A haemophilia nurse is available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 9am and 1pm via the switchboard on bleep 1328.

The laboratory provides an out of hours service from 5:30pm to 9am weekdays and 5pm to 9am weekends and public holidays, via the haematology/blood transfusion department. There is an on call specialist laboratory service available through the consultant on call for the RFL HC&TU via switchboard.
