The Royal Free Hospital Archives Centre holds the records of the Royal Free Hospital, the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine (formerly the London School of Medicine for Women). The centre is also home to some records from hospitals which were part of the Royal Free Group, including Hampstead General Hospital, New End Hospital and the London Fever Hospital.

The archives centre is open Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm. Access to the collections is strictly by appointment. The archivist is happy to answer specific queries about the availability of collections and information to be found in them; however, it is not possible to undertake research projects or pursue lengthy or complex inquiries. If you have a query of this nature we will usually suggest that you either visit in person or hire a professional researcher to undertake research on your behalf.
