HIV services: Camden Citizen’s Advice Bureau HIV service

Camden Citizens Advice Bureau HIV advice service runs an outreach service at the clinic. We can advise people affected by HIV on most issues, our main areas include:

  • Housing
  • Benefits
  • Applying for charitable funds
  • Returning to work and studying
  • Debt and managing your money
  • Community care
  • Employment

The service can help with simple form filling through to representation at social security appeals tribunals. Our service is free, independent and confidential. All our advisers are fully trained and experienced in working with people affected by HIV.

The drop-in session is primarily for residents who live in the boroughs of Camden and Westminster. Other patients who live outside of these areas can still attend the drop-in, but will be offered initial advice, then referred to a local advice agency that covers the borough where they live.
