Monte Fields, senior sexual health advisorNext week, the Royal Free London is running a series of additional drop-in clinics for patients who would like an HIV test – see the additional opening times below.

As part of HIV testing week, which starts on Monday, the trust would like to encourage patients to get tested. Getting an early diagnosis means you are much more likely to stay healthy for longer.

Monte Fields, senior health advisor at the Marlborough Clinic at the Royal Free Hospital said: “With modern, free NHS treatment, HIV is now a manageable condition. Know your HIV status – and talk to your family, friends and partners about testing.”

To celebrate World AIDS Day on 1 December, the trust is holding a web chat on HIV, hepatitis and general sexual health.

Join Monte from 1-2pm on Tuesday 1 December 2015 for answers to all your questions. If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email rf.mediaenquiries@nhs.net with 'HIV web chat' in the subject line.
