One ward has now reopened while the other remains closed to new admissions.

A number of patients have reported to the Barnet Hospital emergency department with symptoms of norovirus.
Two wards affected by the virus are currently closed to new admissions.
Patient safety remains our top priority and we are creating additional capacity for new admissions in other wards.
We would advise if you have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea in the first instance to call NHS 111 or your GP. If you need to attend the accident and emergency department, we would request you immediately report your symptoms to a member of staff on arrival.
