Feedback from NHS Choices

"Great work from wellington ward!

I found Wellington ward to be amazing when I was admitted last month. I had not been an inpatient for 60 years, hence I was very nervous. Everybody was very kind and extremely attentive, patiently explaining how things worked, like bed raising and TV controls. Nothing was too much trouble, for any of the staff, night and day. I was very impressed, thank you for the care."

"Good stuff from Chase Farm!

I would just like to express my supreme gratitude to Chase Farm Hospital as today they went above and beyond to accommodate my 21 year old brother’s needs. He has learning disabilities and autism which worries my family and i when taking him to mainstream settings. I have never witnessed someone treat my brother with such respect and understanding. I just wanted the nurse to know how thankful my family and i are for her patience and understanding that she had for my brother. All other professionals encountered in the building were also outstanding and I would like to thank you all very very much."

"A pat on the back to the Rheumatology clinic!

I have been attending the Rheumatology clinic for a number of years and under their guidance and advice, the years have rolled back and I can move freely and without pain again. At my most recent appointment, a doctor whom I had never met before seemed to already be completely familiar with my notes, and then took the time to form a more holistic view of me as a patient and used this wider knowledge to put the physical examination into a meaningful context. The advice I received from this doctor was hugely relevant, very reassuring and was delivered in compassionate and positive language that left me feeling confident and secure. An outstanding physician who should be a role model for other consultants."
