Nutrition and dietetics - Health promotion

We run several training and education sessions for patients and staff on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. patient support groups). In addition we deliver the following regular teaching and training sessions:

For patients:

• Intensive control group for type 1 diabetes
• Cardiac rehabilitation
• Osteoarthritis and diet

For staff:

• Junior doctors’ induction
• Trust induction for all staff joining the Royal Free
• Care of the elderly multidisciplinary team training
• Nutrition rehabilitation training
• Nutrition and liver disease training
• Nutrition drop in training

Academic:

• 3rd year medical student teaching programme
• Lectures on nutrition and liver disease at Kings College London and London Metropolitan University
