The dressing clinic is situated in clinic 14 on the ground floor. It is a nurse-led clinic aiming to provide a high standard of specialised nursing care to patients following discharge from hospital. Although specialist nurses run the clinic, patients may also see a member of the medical team if necessary. Most patients will be seen in the dressing clinic following discharge depending on the type of surgery. As well as checking wounds it is also a chance to have questions answered and receive advice on post-operative recuperation. Our dressing clinic team is also available for advice over the telephone from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. If appropriate a further appointment will be given to attend the consultant's clinic.
Children are seen in the paediatric dressing clinic in clinic 1 on the first floor.
