Brent community cardiology offers a comprehensive consultant led cardiology service with non-invasive assessment and treatment of patients aged 18 years and older, registered with Brent GPs.
The service is provided from two community venues, Willesden Centre for Health and Wembley Centre for Health, allowing patients to be seen closer to home and reducing the need for a hospital visit.
The service offers treatment and management of long-term cardiology conditions, including heart failure, stable angina and valvular heart disease. We also provide specialist nurse domiciliary visits.
We offer a direct access GP referral service for non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, including:
- holter monitoring
We also carry out investigations and treatment for appropriate cardiac conditions, including:
- atrial fibrillation
- chest pain
Our cardiac rehabilitation programme involves exercise and information sessions that help patients get back to everyday life as efficiently and successfully as possible after a heart attack, heart surgery or other procedure.
