If you have children with you

Is there a baby changing room?

Yes. The mother and baby suite includes a breastfeeding room, baby changing room and small unsupervised play area (children must not be left unaccompanied). It is next to the obstetrics and gynaecology department on the ground floor.

These facilities, provided by the Friends of the Royal Free Hospital, can be used by anyone visiting the hospital and are open daily (including weekends) from 8am to 8pm.

There are also baby changing facilities on the first floor near clinic 3.

Is there a play area for children?

There is a nearby playroom for children attending clinic 1. Children must be accompanied by their parents at all times.

Volunteers are there to keep the room tidy and safe and to organise activities for the children, but they cannot supervise children.

The playroom is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm (tel 020 7830 2144).
