From Monday 2 December 2019, clinicians at the Royal Free London (RFL) are being asked to no longer write repeat prescriptions or prescribe medication that is available over the counter (OTC).

If you need OTC medication, your clinician will advise you to buy it at a supermarket or pharmacy, for example the hospital pharmacy.

Repeat medication should be prescribed by GPs and should not be supplied by the RFL.

Specialist medication will continue to be prescribed by your RFL clinician.
