Feedback of the week - 10 July 2015

10 July 2015

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices

"Great work from Barnet Hospital A&E!
My 86 year old mother was brought in by ambulance with a possible heart or stroke problem on a Saturday afternoon.. The nurse was excellent in painlessly taking her blood first time as she is usually difficult to get blood from. They were also very caring towards her. We were then thankful that the doctors attended without too much delay and were very kind and attentive to my mother. There was a doctor and medical student who were very thorough with their assessments. My mother found them very friendly and they communicated extremely well to both of us. I really appreciate the service we received on a Saturday afternoon, from the initial first responder, the ambulance crew and the hospital staff."

"Barnet Hospital A&E again!
I visited A&E Barnet Hospital following a referral from a GP. The Hospital is very busy. However the staff are friendly, courteous and respectful. I was at the hospital for over 4 hours which was stressful but the staff made the experience a less stressful by being polite and friendly. I have a large swelling that is due to an infection or stones in the saliva gland. Thank you to the staff at Barnet. I have to return on Monday 13 July 2015."
