Feedback of the week - 11 November

11 November 2016

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account@RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices

"Thank you sister.
I would like to thank the staff that saw me yesterday when I visited the colposcopy department at Barnet Hospital.I was extremely anxious and nervous following my initial smear test which came back inconclusive. The sister and their assistant nurse were the most friendly members of staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, so I would like to thank them for putting an extremely nervous patient at ease and making what is not the most pleasant of procedures all the more bearable! Thank you both so much."

"Urgent care treatment
I attended the Urgent Care Centre Saturday 5/11/16 after work. I was seen by the triage nurse within 30 minutes and given some painkillers, which helped immensely with my back pain. I was then seen by a clinician about half an hour later and given a thorough examination. Turns out I have sciatica. Although I think the A&E should never have been closed, the Urgent Care Centre and its fantastic staff are amazing. Thank you."
