Feedback from NHS Choices

"Great work from Chase Farm Hospital!
I was recently an in-patient at Chase Farm Hospital and would like to compliment the hospital on every single aspect of my experience. I was quite nervous about the whole thing (it being a number of years since I'd been an in-patient in any hospital), but my fears were allayed from the moment I arrived at 8am for my admission. The staff in the admissions unit were so kind and helpful and explained everything that would happen in clear and concise detail. I was then seen by the anaesthetist, and the consultant who talked me through the medical side of the procedure in finite details but whilst still giving me plenty of time to ask my own questions. No questions seemed to silly or small to answer. By the time I got to the ante-room just outside theatre, I was a bit of a teeth-chattering wreck but the anaestetist was marvellous - was so kind and supportive. Post op, I found myself in Wellington Ward where the marvellous care continued. Again, from the ward cleaners to the doctor-in-charge, I was treated with kindness, respect, dignity, and professionalism. My pain was under control at all times, I was monitored constantly, by various staff who were all knowledgeable and who inspired trust. The discharge procedure was textbook - no hanging around for hours for pharmacists and bits of paper to appear. The staff knew when I was being picked up and did their very best to work around that timeline. I really can't thank you all enough for treating me so well, for dissipating all my nerves - and for curing me! Thank you so very much."

"Well done to the ultrasound team!
I had to have a pelvic ultra sound. I was very nervous and the ultrasound technician was amazing calm patient caring. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you."
