Feedback of the week - 18 August

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account@RoyalfreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices 

Barnet Hospital day surgery unit stay 

Attended Barnet day surgery unit by appointment the evening before which saved waiting in the units reception. I was taken in within 15 mins of my time and the staff told me my time table for my Op and did everything they needed to do in a polite and efficient way. I was then seen by the two surgeons who were to do my Op and they gave me exact information I needed. My Op was proformed and unfortunately an overnight was required. The more than helpful staff called my partner and allowed her to come in and seen me with some more personal items after the visiting hours had finished. Night staff after this we're very attentive and professional. Morning staff were excellent. Happy and bright and made it a pleasure to be in recovery. 

Surgeon came back and fully updated me and released me once a few matters sorted. 

I can only praise the whole staff and thank them for making my Op and stay at the unit a good one. NHS in very good hands with caring, professional people.

Edgware day surgery 

A big thank you to the lovely staff at the Edgware day surgery unit. Came in for varicose vein removal and could not be happier with the level of care provided by the staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the anaesthetist and consultant was extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Overall, it was an excellent experience! Thank you!
