Feedback from NHS Choice
NHS at its best
We had to take my 96 year old Mother to A&E following breathing difficulties last Tuesday. She was taken by ambulance and we followed. From the moment we arrived, she was seen quickly and all procedures were followed to find out what was troubling her. She had X-Ray, blood tests, all done with efficiency and care. We were kept informed at all times what was happening. The Dr was helpful and answered any questions we had and gave us clear instructions what was troubling my Mother and what had to be done to help her. We cannot find fault with any of the staff, in particular the nursing care my Mother received was excellent. We have since been back for follow up appointments and again the service was faultless. The Dr in particular was excellent. We are lucky to live in a country where we have access to such care.
Visit to A&E
Came to A&E 24hrs ago. I suffer from SVT and not from the area. The staff in resuscitation were extremely quick and efficient to deal with my condition. The doctor and nurses who cared for me at the time were very kind, understanding and very informative with everything they were doing, from the time I arrived up until the time I left the department, which helped me immensely. I really cannot thank them enough for their care, it was a pleasure to meet some of the amazing team at this hospital.
