Feedback of the week - 18 September

18 September 2015

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feeback from NHS Choices

"Great work at Barnet Hospital A&E!
I had to go to A&E early last Saturday evening. I arrived at 7.25pm and was walking out of the department at 8pm. I quite expected a long wait, but the staff were so efficient and professional. I was assessed quickly by a doctor and almost immediately passed on to a nurse practitioner who dealt with my problem quickly efficiently and very professionally. I was really impressed. They were fantastic. I have been in quite a few departments in BGH over the last few years and the staff have been wonderful. I hope somebody reads this review.”

"Well done to the day surgery at the Royal Free Hospital!
just had hernia operation treatment and staff were excellent.”

"Well done to Barnet Hospital A&E!
Even though the person who took my call for an ambulance said there may be quite a wait the ambulance arrived within the hour. The two paramedics onboard the ambulance treated my wife with sympathy and respect. Her's was a slightly complex problem in that she had fractured a bone in the upper arm , the problem compounded by the fact that she has suffered with MS for the past 30 years. The A&E department treated her efficiently and speedily. Two x-rays were taken. She saw the same doctor twice once prior and once post x-rays, and we were headed home within 3 hours of our arrival. Unfortunately, due to her MS we have been to a number of hospitals throughout Europe and we have never been treated as speedily and efficiently as in Barnet. Well done to all concerned."
