Feedback of the week - 19 February
19 February 2016
We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.
Feedback from NHS Choices
"Great work from dermatology!
I had two procedures, recently, for skin cancer. The consultants and the nurses supporting them were cheerful and professional in their conduct. The procedures were unpleasant, yet the members of staff attending to me were calm and empathetic.
The first procedure was - excision on 11 January 16 and the second one - mohs' micrographic surgery on 8th Feb. 16. I felt involved in the process and had a complete trust in the surgeons who treated me.
A follow up of checks up and taking out the stitches was done sensitively and with much humanity and respect as I told the nurses that I was in pain. A Dr and a specialized nurse reviewed my wound and advised on a follow up treatment. It is pretty upsetting to fine oneself with 'wonky' face after the operations. However, I feel I'll be OK as I'm supported by experts who are exceedingly supportive."
"Nice stuff at Chase Farm Hospital
I had a wonderful experience at Chase Farm hospital. It began with MOHS surgery by a wonderful doctor and his nurse on Wednesday followed by facial reconstruction on the following day. The maxi-facial team were so amazing. Dosa ward was a dream. I cannot highly praise the wonderful staff at Chase Farm enough. Well done and thank you so much."
