First visit to the Royal Free Hospital

I attended a rheumatology consultation this week which required me to book a number of follow-up appointments.

I was impressed at just how friendly & helpful all the reception staff where - imaging, cardiology, neurophysiology, lung function & rheumatology.

Well done the Royal Free!

Highly satisfied

I went in the morning to have an abscess drained. The wait for the initial assessment was about 15 minutes. After a wait of 25 minutes they took a routine blood test to save the doctor/nurse time later when being seen and was then about 45 minutes until seen to properly. A passing doctor/nurse checked I was feeling OK while waiting after the blood test and even offered me a drink, very thoughtful.

The doctor was very professional and efficient and did not make me feel rushed. A very good service.

Truly grateful

I took my daughter to A&E on a Tuesday evening, it was very busy but she was seen within 15 minutes and then rushed to resus and started on antibiotics straight away. The staff where very quick and caring, we stayed on galaxy ward and again the staff were amazing. They saved our daughter's life and we are truly grateful.

Excellent care

I had an appointment this morning and the care given by the staff and doctor was really wonderful. Even though there was an emergency at the urology clinic1, they tried their best to keep everyone on time. The care given by the doctor who examined me was execllent and I am really pleased the way he talked to me and explained the options in front of me.
The care given by the nursing staff in the urology clinic1 and the staff in the MR! department was also wonderful.I was alone but i felt home while I was there. Keep up the good work

Lovely staff

Massive kudos for all the lovely staff at @RoyalFreeNHS at Chase Farm for the way they looked after my mum today. All did a fantastic job.

Thank you

As a matter of fact, I’ll never forget the time and care and it may be loads of years later but I wouldn’t have years to contemplate if it wasn’t for the Royal Free Hampstead. Thank you so very much  #NHS
