Feedback of the week – 2 October
2 October 2015
We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.
Feedback from NHS Choices
"Great work from A&E!
I have had to go to the Royal Free for a couple of different reasons, some involving blood tests, A & E and their clinics.
Every time I go I am impressed by the quality of service, the swiftness with which I am seen, and the professionalism of all the staff. This hospital is an absolute credit to the NHS. I feel grateful that this is my local hospital."
"Well done to all our staff!
Came in with a swollen neck and was thoroughly assessed and cared for by staff all of whom were caring and professional.
Ended up being admitted and the excellent care continued."
Feedback from letters
Well done willow ward!
"I recently had an operation at Barnet Hospital. I would like to thank my consultant, Fearne Ward, the recovery and Willow Ward for their kindness and care. Other women in Willow Ward having treatment at the same time as myself agreed the care we received was really good - so thank you, Barnet. Your excellent care helped me to recover speedily."
Great stuff all round!
"I am writing to say how pleased I am with my treatment. Between the years 2010 to 2015, I came here regularly to correct the positioning of my teeth on both the upper and the lower jaws. It was preventing me from brushing them easily, and made me worry about my smile. From the beginning, huge efforts have been made to maintain a high standard of treatment and eventually I regained confidence in my smile; it now has a very good alignment.
This would not have been possible without the hard work of dentists and nurses at the Orthodontic department, led by Dr. Sheriteh.
I also would like to thank the maxillofacial department for the operation which removed several teeth causing overcrowding, and for initiating the treatment.
Finally, I would like to thank the receptionists for greeting me politely and cheerfully each time I arrived, and for helpfully fitting me into appointments that suited my schedule.
A quick note that the facilities at the orthodontic department (the "blue room") in my opinion are excellent, and is one of many factors to which I believe, has contributed to the high quality of treatment.
In future, I hope that this hospital continues to set standards for orthodontic treatment in London, and I wish all the best to the staff who work here."
