Feeback from NHS Choices
"Day surgery level 3 ward north A
Went in for repair of hand tendons under local anaesthetic. Arrived at 07.30 and was on my way home by 10.30. So within 3 hours I was booked in, spoken to by nurses and the surgeon about the procedures that were about to happen, changed ready for surgery,taken to theatre,operated on,back to ward to get changed,put on a cast and sling,given meds and then discharged. All of this within 3 hours( operation was 1 hour of that time). Without a doubt the best service I have ever received with the NHS at any hospital. Well done The Royal Free, keep it up."
"Operation at Chase Farm Hospital
I underwent a operation yesterday and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people involved in taking such amazing care of me and making this anxious time feel so easy. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone and the professional way they went about doing their jobs. From the porters to the consultants each one was amazing. Well done the NHS is world class."
