Feedback from NHS Choices
My experiences here have been excellent
This morning I attended the hospital for blood tests and an ECG and I was incredibly impressed with both departments. All staff I met with were incredibly polite and helpful and the medical professionals really put me at ease. I was also astounded at how quickly I was seen- waiting time was next to nothing.
My other experience with this hospital was equally as good- my partner suffered kidney stones at Christmas and during every appointment and consultation (and everything in between) we were treated with such kindness. Doctors/consultants explained every procedure fully and all other staff that we encountered made the whole experience much less painful! Thank you once again for all you do- we really are so grateful to the NHS and all the staff involved.
Excellent Dermatology department
I visited the dermatology department. The receptionists, nurses and doctors were all friendly, kind and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Accident & Emergency Visit
Seen very quickly at triage, where diagnostic tests were completed and information about the health problem was taken. Was then able to see a Dr in Urgent Care. All staff were polite, professional and efficient. I appreciate the care and treatment provided.
Colonoscopy at chase farm
Had apt at 8 this morning I was seen on time and treated well by everyone it was very efficient and would recommend opted not to o have sedation but felt fine throughout procedure everyone was kind and pleasant and professional.
Hubby's treatment
My husband had a procedure today in the gastroenterology dept. Special thanks to one staff member for her help with sorting out his appointment.
Orthopaedic surgery
I had hand surgery yesterday at the new unit, after a few minor problems I have to write and compliment Mr B Ferris’s team on their treatment and are. Everyone from the receptionist, nursing staff, anesthist staff, surgeons and aftercare nurses were amazing. Despite staff being rushed off their feet due to work load every member of that team was polite, caring and put the patient first. I left the unit about 6.30 in the evening with clear instructions and everything explained to me. Please pass this onto the unit and staff and thank everyone of them.
Treatment for a fractured ankle
I was taken to the Urgent Care Centre by a friend after injuring my left ankle. The staff were very welcoming from the doorman at reception up. I was seen to very quickly upon arrival at 8am. The staff who treated me were excellent in explaining the full diagnosis which after x-rays turned out to be a fracture to my left ankle. I didn't catch the name of the woman who treated me (in room 8) but her advice and help, down to showing me how to use a pair of crutches was both professional and very comforting. The x-ray specialist I understand has worked in the NHS for 33 years. Again, he had a very calm and friendly manner. I was in quite a bit of pain and discomfort by then, but all those on duty at the centre this Friday morning made my unwanted visit bearable. Thank you.
My best experience
Today I have there endoscopy with sedation.
For me just was amazing the nurses and doctor was absolutly nice. They was with lovely attitude, making so easy this uncomfortable process. When I sitted there and waiting I heard them to making joke and laugh around with everyone. So the atmosphere was very friendly and make it easy.I had once in Hungary but I couldn’t even compare.I feeling so ok and big thank you for you guys. God bless you all!

At this time, as we mourn the passing of our father; we reflect with grateful hearts, about how well he was cared for by the staff on Wards 8 North and West. To name each person would be unfair, because everyone played a part in his care. Right up to this point, he was treated with such empathy and kept as comfortable as possible, for the time he had left. Thank you.
A&E visit. All of the staff was helpful and friendly, very professional and caring. The A&E department has had a complete remodel and was surprisingly pleasant to visit.
On Thursday I had a colonoscopy at Chase Farm Hospital. I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and attention. The advice given to me to take the medication beforehand was invaluable and once at the appointment, the nurses and Dr O'shea were extremely professional and considerate throughout. Thank you very much
Fantastic Care and Support: I have just returned home after a routine procedure at Chase Farm and I can't praise the staff and level of care enough - go NHS!
Had a procedure done on the 28th September; from the admission's team and staff on the surgery ward they were excellent. Can't thank them enough for looking after me.

Thank you so much to all the amazing staff at the Barnett Hospital A&E and to the fantastic paramedics for you care and kindness on Friday 19 Oct 18. My fiancé was unfortunately in a motorcycle accident and you were all part of ensuring he was treated quickly and made sure he had no serious injuries. We feel very lucky and blessed to have the NHS - thank you x.
