Feedback of the week - 24 March

24 March 2016

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices

"Well done maternity!

I was planning on a water birth with our first son and, as one can imagine, we were a bit nervous about it. Not only did the staff do everything they could to accommodate our wishes, but they were also extremely kind and very friendly.
Our son was safely delivered and we could not have wished for better care!

Postnatally, everyone was very attentive, highly professional and respectful while portraying genuine happiness for us, as a new family.

Thank you to all amazing Midwives at the Royal Free Hospital!"

"Great work at Wellington Ward!

I went in on Tuesday 15 for a tonsillectomy and ended up having to stay in overnight in the Wellington ward. My experience from entering the hospital, to the operation, to the recovery and to the overnight care was amazing. I am 26 and apart from as a child, I have never been to hospital before. I was scared and nervous but was reassured and looked after throughout. I was not happy about coming to chase farm as I thought it seemed so run down but I was so surprised and happy I did. The nurse's on the wellington ward are so lovely especially my day nurse and overnight nurse. Thank you so much to all the staff at chase farm hospital you are doing an amazing job."
