Feedback of the week – 25 September

25 September 2015

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalFreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices

"Great work!
I have just had an ERCP in the surgical centre to remove a gallstone. I was given an appointment very quickly. The nurses were happy, very keen to put you at your ease and explain things to you. The consultant was a happy, understanding and so reassuring. I felt no pain and it was all over quickly they were very down to earth and it was obvious that their staff enjoyed working with them. Thank you all so much."

Feedback from letters

“I just wanted to write and compliment the whole department on this programme, which I completed on 20 August. Martin Atkinson and Suzy and the other physios who supported the programme were excellent throughout. The benefits I derived from the programme were:

  • Knowing which exercises to do (and continue after the programme) and how to do them to strengthen muscles supporting the knee.
  • Confidence to keep on exercising after the programme (had been less active because of pain before programme)
  • Motivation to do home exercises from group
  • Tips on all aspects of pain management – from physios and fellow sufferers

I know from group discussions that others felt the same positive imact and I do hope that you will continue with this excellent initiative.”

Feedback from Facebook

"I would like to thank all the nurses and staff on 9 north for all the care and treatment they are giving to our mum. My mum as a patient and us as a family could not wish for better treatment or care. We are being looked after as a whole family. Nurses have gone beyond just treating the patient. For this I truly thank you. There are no words that can express our gratitude to all. Thank you for everything."
