Feedback of the week - 27 January

27 January 2017

We regularly receive encouraging feedback regarding the services at our trust, via patient letters, NHS Choices or Patient Opinion reviews and our social media accounts, such as our official Twitter account @RoyalfreeNHS and our Facebook page. Take a look at some of this week's feedback below.

Feedback from NHS Choices

"Lovely staff!

I had an appointment at Barnet General for an appointment for a hysteroscopy in the colposcopy department after undergoing an episode of postmenopasual bleeding. I was extremely apprehensive and nervous prior to the hospital appointment, however, I found the doctors and nurses throughout the process to extremely reassuring and helpful, from the initial ultrascan to the hysteroscopy itself. My doctor in particular merits a special mention, for their most reassuring manner and the nurses accompanying them during the examination. As for the procedure itself, I can honestly say it was quick and completely bearable- nothing to worry about at all. I would highly recommend the service at this hospital in what was a time of anxiety- I was immediately made to feel at calm and reassured during the whole process."

"Eye Clinic - Tuesday 24th January 2017

I had a 10.30 am appointment and was seen just a very few minutes late (Despite warning notices of delays due to staff shortages). At each stage of my various tests all the staff were unfailing friendly and courteous and kept me informed of what was happening and what I would need to do once my tests on the day were over. I will need to come back to the Glaucoma Clinic for further tests and possible laser treatment. I will be very happy to do so based on my experience yesterday."
