"Great work from the paediatric A&E!
Our son was admitted to the RFH this week with bacteraemia. The care was exceptional. we felt safe, protected and very well looked after by all staff. During the day in the ward the nurse was fantastic as was the teacher on the ward. The room needed a lick of paint but to be honest who cares, given how good the care and facilities were. I'd rather see peeling paint and have the amazing care we had. Not sure my son even realised he was ill and in hospital. You do an amazing job given the current constraints. And A+E care was also amazing. I'm glad we saw the real NHS behind the misleading headlines. Keep up the good work."
"Great work all around!
My 90 year old uncle stayed for in total 6weeks plus in the hospital. He was given excellent care from the wonderful nurses and doctors. He never had a single complaint and he had very high standards. He told me it was equal to any private hospital he had stayed in. I would also like to thank the social services team and carers who helped him when he was able to return home for a short while. I must also thank the marvellous Ambulance crews who were always so calm, kind and supportive. Although, he died last week , my mother and I know that he was very well cared for to the very end of his life, which is a great comfort to us."
