Support and information for patients and carers affected by long term conditions
The Support Hub is on the lower ground floor of the Royal Free Hospital. It offers support and information to people affected by long-term health conditions and their carers’. The support is free of charge. Please drop in and see us or call 020 7794 0500 x 39963 if you have any questions.
The Support Hub provides a warm welcoming environment to people diagnosed with long-term health conditions and their carers’. The hub is staffed by a service lead, a hub manager, an administrator, two full time and one part time welfare benefits advisors and a team of trained volunteers. The volunteers offer those affected by long-term health conditions a friendly ear to talk to about whatever’s on their mind and provide information on further support in the community if needed. These services were co-designed with people who are affected by long-term health conditions.
Please note, the welfare benefits advice service is currently on hold, due to an extensive waiting list; this will be reviewed shortly. If you need this type of advice, please contact your local citizens advice bureau for support. You can find details of this here.

Support and Information
When you are affected by a long-term condition either as a carer or as a patient it can be difficult to find the support you want. Our staff and trained volunteers are available Monday to Thursday to offer a listening ear and a helping hand in finding what you need.
If you have some free time between appointments why not come by for a friendly chat with one of our volunteers, or for some quiet time away from the busy hospital.
