The 11th international workshop on cardiovascular biology and translational medicine will take place on Friday 2 September 2016 at the Royal College of Physicians, St Andrews Place, Regent’s Park, London.
The workshop includes national and international speakers working in key areas relevant to the cardiovascular biology and medicine, in both the experimental setting and in areas of translational biology and clinical trials.
The themes of this year’s meeting focus on key areas of cardiovascular biology, and translational science and related fields and offer insight into emerging areas of biological mechanisms that contribute to human diseases and their management and treatment. They include new and emerging treatment for cardiovascular diseases, cardio-metabolic disorders and cell signalling, inflammation, endothelial cell biology and angiogenesis, cardiac and vascular remodelling and pulmonary vascular diseases.
The workshop has been designed to attract senior clinicians, clinicians in training and basic and clinical scientists across wide biomedical disciplines, scientific research areas and clinical specialties and our industry colleagues with interests in cardiovascular diseases. We feel our workshop is unique and provides a forum to engage clinicians and scientists across a broad range of cardiovascular topics, and to attract the best and brightest young investigators.
