We are redeveloping the existing site into three different elements.
We are demolishing most of the existing poor quality buildings across the Chase Farm Hospital site and constructing a modern hospital which will provide out-patient services including diagnostics, musculoskeletal therapies and women’s services. There will also be an urgent care centre, an older persons assessment unit, theatres, day surgery, surgical in-patient beds, endoscopy and medical day cases including a chemotherapy unit.
The following film simulates the construction of the new Chase Farm Hospital. The film starts with the demolition of the rheumatology, urgent care centre and older person's assessment unit buildings and finishes with the completion of the new hospital in 2018.
Surplus land will be used for residential development to fund the new hospital facilities. It will include up to 500 family homes and apartments, including key worker accommodation, set within a landscaped environment.
New primary school
A parcel of land has been sold to Enfield Council who are proposing to build a three-form entry primary school to provide much needed school places for new and existing residents.
Artist's impressions of the new hospital building
We have developed 3D artist's impressions of what the future hospital building may look like. Please note that there are likely to be minor alterations to the appearance of the building as the redevelopment progresses.
