Natalie has many years of experience as an intensive care unit nurse in London, the majority of which was in cardiothoracic and transplantation units. Latterly at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust before moving into nurse management. She became a director of nursing in London in 2007, a position she held at several trusts until 2012. She had a short period as interim chief executive of West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust before moving to Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust just before it was acquired by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. For the last two years Natalie has been the programme director for the redevelopment of Chase Farm Hospital.
Dr Alan McGlennan

Dr Alan McGlennan qualified from UCL Medical School in 1997. After house jobs and a period as a casualty officer at the Royal Free Hospital, he embarked on specialty training in anaesthesia in London. In this period he spent time working at Chase Farm, Barnet and the Royal Free hospitals. Dr McGlennan was appointed as a substantive consultant in 2007. His sub-specialty interests have been obstetric anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia and risk governance. As well as being an examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists, Dr McGlennan was also programme director for the anaesthetic training rotation across north central London for five years.
After four years leading the Royal Free Hospital anaesthetic department, Alan recently took on the role of theatre improvement director across the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
