Barnet Hospital has disabled parking for blue badge holders near to the hospital entrances. Parking in these designated spaces is free for the first four hours – upon arrival please register your blue badge with reception staff.

Drop off zone

There is a free, designated 20 minute drop off zone immediately outside the main entrance of Barnet Hospital.

Disabled parking at Chase Farm Hospital

Two new car parks (car parks 2 and 3) are now open for patients and visitors at Chase Farm Hospital. They are located next to the existing multistorey car park, and pay and display machines are available in each. Patients and visitors can pay for their parking at any of the machines.

All car parks at Chase Farm Hospital have disabled parking bays. Blue badge holders must register the serial number of their badge and their vehicle registration number on their first visit to the hospital.

We have two machines available to register your details. One is located in the entrance of the new hospital, opposite car park 2 on the left hand side. The other is in the entrance to the Highlands Wing building on the right hand side. If the machines are unavailable, please leave your details with concierge staff located in the new building main entrance who will register your badge for you.

Blue badge holders can park free of charge, for up to four hours, for one year from the date of registration.

Drop off zone

The drop off zone is now located outside of the entrance to the new hospital, opposite car park 2. It has a maximum stay of 20 minutes.

Disabled parking at the Royal Free Hospital

There are 12 blue badge bays at the Pond Street entrance, and one blue badge bay outside A&E (lower ground floor). These are free for blue badge holders staying up to four hours – please see details on how to register your badge below. Standard parking charges of £3 an hour will apply after 4 hours. The multi-storey car park is now closed but there are parking spaces available in the Rowland Hill car park.

Please register your details on arrival at either the Pond Street reception or security reception (adjacent to A&E) to ensure that you receive your four hours free hospital parking. You must take your government issued disabled permit with you to register. You will not be required to return to your car to display this. Failure to register your blue badge will lead to a parking notice.

Please note that regular parking charges are applicable to blue badge holders when not using disabled parking.

Drop off zone

There is a set-down parking zone (immediately outside the main entrance). It is free, but there is a strict no waiting policy in force and you must leave the area within five minutes of arrival.
