Mile End Hospital has a breast screening clinic run by the Central and East London Breast Screening Service (CELBSS).

The CELBSS is one of two breast screening services hosted by the Royal Free London.

Getting to us

By bus

Bus routes 8, 25, 277, 309, D5 and D6 all serve the hospital.

By tube

Stepney Green tube station is a five-minute walk from the hospital and is served by the District and Hammersmith & City lines.

Mile End tube station is a 14-minute walk away and is served by the Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines.

By car

There are only four on-site car parking spaces. These spaces operate on a pay and display basis and the machines do not give change.
 

Mile End Hospital is wheelchair accessible.

Screening is strictly by appointment only and these are booked a maximum of six weeks in advance.

You will normally be invited to a location within the area of your GP’s surgery, but if you would like to rearrange to another location, or make any other change to your appointment, please complete the manage your appointment form.
