St Albans City Hospital is in Hertfordshire and is one of the satellite sites where our plastic surgery team provide outpatient clinics.

Getting to us

By bus

Bus routes 301, S2 and 653 from St Albans serve the hospital.

By train

Thameslink trains run to St Albans City station. It’s a 30-minute walk to the hospital, but you can take a bus or a taxi from the station.

By car

Parking is free for stays of less than 30 minutes. At all other times, parking charges are as follows: 

  • Up to 1 hour: £3.50
  • Up to 2 hours: £5.00
  • Up to 3 hours: £7.00
  • Up to 4 hours: £8.00
  • Up to 5 hours: £9.00
  • Up to 6 hours: £10.00
  • Up to 12 hours: £12.00
  • 12 to 24 hours: £15.00

Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders is also available.

St Albans City Hospital has disabled parking bays and step free access.

The hospital is wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilets.

A signing service and braille translation service is available.

The All Good Coffee Co, near the main entrance of the hospital, is open 8am to 4pm (Monday to Friday).
