‘Going into hospital’ film

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has produced a film on behalf of people with a learning disability with the backing of the Department of Health’s Pacesetters Programme.

‘Going into hospital’ gives information to patients with learning difficulties about what to expect when you get to hospital, the hospital staff and what you should bring with you to hospital.

The film features Royal Free staff and patients and the trust wishes to thank them, as well as the carers and voluntary and statutory organisations whose contributions have made this film possible.

The Pacesetters Programme aims to reduce inequalities experienced by patients and staff due to discrimination or disadvantage.
