Patient experience improvement plan

During 2013/14 the patient experience improvement plan focused on six key areas of work:

  • Embedding world class care values
  • Patient transport
  • Patient information
  • Out-patient services
  • Discharge process
  • Engaging patients, carers and the public

The progress of the improvement plan is  monitored by the patient and staff experience committee, a sub-committee of the trust board. The committee meets quarterly and, thanks to its valuable feedback, helps us improve our NHS treatment in line with what hospital patients need.
