Biography

Dr Sheri is a consultant medical oncologist who manages all aspects of systemic therapy for early and advanced breast cancer including adjuvant therapy, neo-adjuvant therapy, immunotherapy, treatment of secondary breast cancer, novel biological and targeted therapies and breast cancer in young women.

She has undertaken research into the prediction of outcome following neo-adjvuant therapy and is involved in research on the use of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in early breast cancer.

Dr Sheri has a clinical interest in managing all aspects of systemic therapy for breast cancer and melanoma, including: adjuvant therapy, neo-adjuvant therapy, treatment of secondary breast cancer, breast cancer in young women, novel biological and targeted therapies, and immunotherapy

Her research has focused on understating the use of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in early breast cancer and she was awarded an MD(res) from the Institute of Cancer Research for her work into the prediction of outcome following neo-adjuvant therapy.

She has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings.
