Biography

Joe trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology at the Royal Free and Royal Brompton Hospitals, returning to the Royal Free as a consultant in 2020. He has clinical interests in cardiac CT imaging, lung cancer screening, interstitial lung disease, ambulatory lung biopsy and artificial intelligence.

He holds several nonclinical roles, including: radiology service lead at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, lead for standards and guidelines at the British Society of Cardiothoracic Imaging and is a clinical executive for the North Central London radiology networks primary care electronic ordering project. Joe was formerly editor of European Respiratory Journal Open Research.
