Biography

Dr Jesky graduated from Leicester-Warwick medical school before relocating to the West Midlands for post graduate training in renal medicine. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Birmingham for research investigating risk factors associated with chronic kidney disease in ethnically diverse, high-risk populations.

Prior to appointment as consultant nephrologist at the Royal Free London in 2023, he worked as a consultant nephrologist in Birmingham (2015-2017) and Nottingham (2017-2023).

Clinical interests include working closely with primary care to optimise management for people with chronic kidney disease, haemodialysis including strategies to improve quality of life, and management of kidney disease in people with frailty and/or multimorbidity.
