Biography

Dr Hatipoglu is a consultant cardiologist with specialist interest in cardiovascular imaging and obstetric cardiology.

She was awarded Doctor of Medicine degree from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty with honours and received initial cardiology training in Kosuyolu Cardiothoracic Centre in Istanbul, Turkey.

She pursued specialist training in CMR/cardiac imaging at Royal Brompton Hospital and holds a master of science degree in patient safety from Imperial College, London.

Dr Hatipoglu is multi-skilled in advanced cardiac imaging (including CMR, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography), obstetric-cardiology, heart failure and general cardiology.

She has contributed to scientific literature with several original research publications in high impact cardiology journals and participated in innovative service development projects.

She undertakes responsibilities in postgraduate and undergraduate medical training. In recognition of clinical and academic achievements, she was awarded fellowship of Royal Collage of Physicians (FRCP), fellowship of European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and fellowship of Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR).
