Biography

Professor Dvorkin holds an ​MBChB from the University of Leeds and the FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons. After undertaking a period of research at The Royal London Hospital, he was awarded his MD by the University of London. 

Professor Dvorkin's surgical training took place in Wessex & London and was completed in 2010. He then undertook an 18-month Fellowship at St Marks Hospital, London.As a Consultant since 2011, Professor Dvorkin has held various senior academic and educational roles both within the NHS and internationally, and he is honoured to train the next generation of surgeons as director of a RCS Senior Clinical Fellowship programme. 

Professor Dvorkin’s clinical practice includes Endoscopy, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bowel Cancer Surgery, Proctology (including TAMIS), IBD Surgery & Endometriosis Surgery 

In his spare time he enjoys reading, hiking and playing Badminton.
