Biography

Mr Hart is a leading general, colorectal, and emergency consultant surgeon, specialising in keyhole and open surgical procedures, complex abdominal wall reconstructions, hernia surgery, colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, adhesions, and inflammatory bowel disease.

He is also an expert in the management of benign perianal diseases such as fissures, haemorrhoids, prolapse and fistulas. Mr Hart currently sees patients at the Royal Free Hospital private patients' unit and the Cleveland Clinic London.

Mr Hart qualified from the University of Leicester and trained in London and the East Midlands. He received his MD from University College London and was awarded the prestigious Pan-London Colorectal Fellowship in the following year.

He later joined the Royal Free Hospital, where he is the service lead for general and emergency surgery.

Mr Hart is a lecturer at University College London and the Royal Free Hospital and teaches for the Royal College of Surgeons.
