Biography

Mr Vakharia is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with specialist training in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He works at Barnet & Chase Farm hospital ( Royal Free NHS Trust) where he was the clinical director for women's services for five years.

Mr Vakharia qualified from the Royal Free London and University College Medical school and trained in the North Central and East Thames rotation. During his training he also completed additional training at Birmingham Women's Hospital where he completed his advanced training in minimal access surgery.

Through his additional training he became proficient in the minimal access management of many gynaecological conditions which includes endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, adenomyosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) which he manages on a regular basis.

In addition to the above, he regularly manages patients who present with pelvic pain, period pain, couples who are have difficulty conceiving and any general gynaecological issue.

In addition to his clinical work Mr Vakharia is passionate about service delivery improvements, training and medical innovation.
