The cardiology department has produced a series of short videos providing useful information to patients about what will happen when they arrive at one of the trust’s hospitals, and explaining stent and pacemaker procedures.
This film is aimed at patients who have been referred for a coronary angiogram and stenting, also known as percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). The film explains what the procedure involves, why we are doing it and some of the risks that may be associated with it.
