Donating to our staff and supporting our appeal

An emergency fund to support staff at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust through the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has been launched by the Royal Free Charity.

The 10,000-strong workforce at the Royal Free London (RFL) are responding heroically to the biggest challenge the NHS has ever faced.

Many staff are now caring for patients with coronavirus. Others are looking after patients who are not unwell with the virus but still desperately need hospital care.

The trust and the charity are asking the public to lend their support to staff as quickly as possible via the Royal Free Charity Covid-19 Emergency Fund. Details of the campaign can be found here.

We have also transformed a fitness club for staff at the Royal Free Hospital into a 'supermarket', which is distributing vital essentials to frontline workers free of charge. At Barnet Hospital, free community chests have been created. These boxes are being filled with snacks, drinks and self care products, which are being distributed to staff rooms and kitchens across the hospital site. Further information on how to contribute can be found here.

We are so grateful to the public for their good wishes and kind donations but we can no longer accept hot or homemade food at any of our sites.

If anyone has other donations, please could they email us at RFLHeroes@royalfreecharity.org and if we confirm we can accept them, deliver them between 9am and 1pm as follows:
