The Royal Free London is a leading centre for the treatment of all aspects of colorectal disease. The colorectal surgery department consists of a range of specialist surgeons and nurses. We work closely with other specialites in the trust including: radiology, gastroenterology, oncology and pathology to provide comprehensive and excellent care for people with:

We have surgical expertise in minimally invasive surgery: this includes key hole and robotic surgery, endoscopic microsurgery and transanal surgery.
We have a team of dedicated specialist nurses with expertise in colorectal and anal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, stoma care and post-operative recovery as well complex abdominal wound management.
Investigations
Our services can be accessed through a number of routes, depending on what symptoms you describe to your GP. You will usually be referred for investigations, such as:
