Urogynaecology and pelvic floor

Urogynaecology services include the care of women with incontinence, bladder problems including recurrent UTIs, bladder pain and voiding difficulties.

Urodynamic studies, which assess the function of the bladder and urethra and are often useful in the assessment and diagnosis of patients presenting with lower urinary tract symptoms, is offered as a one-stop consultant delivered clinic on a weekly basis.

Our pelvic floor clinic is for women with recurrent or complex pelvic organ prolapse. We have a multidisciplinary approach, which includes both urology and colorectal surgeons.

The urogynaecology service is supported by physiotherapists.
