What do occupational therapists do?
At the Royal Free, occupational therapists work all over our London hospitals to improve and assess patient independence, including in A&E, where they help to prevent avoidable admissions in people who are medically fit but who may require equipment or assistance at home.
As well as general occupational therapists, our team also includes specialist occupational therapists to support patients with dementia, and their families.
