If you stayed in any of our hospitals during July, you may be sent a survey from the Picker Institute on behalf of the trust. Copies of the same survey will be sent to 850 recent patients of all NHS trusts in England and form part of the national survey programme which has been running since 2002.

The NHS national patient survey programme is part of the government's commitment to ensure hospital patient feedback informs the continued development and improvement of our services, improving the standard of your healthcare and ultimately, your experience.

As well as using the data to compare services across our hospitals in order to make local improvements, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) uses this data to compare trusts across England to one another.
